A 57-year-old northwestern Indiana man has collapsed and died after clearing snow from his driveway.

Porter County Coroner Chuck Harris tells The Times of Munster that Harvey Hubbard of South Haven collapsed about 10 a.m. Wednesday after using a snow blower. Harris says a heart attack is believed to be the cause of death.

South Haven is about 10 miles southeast of Gary.

The Newton County Sheriff's Department says two people died Tuesday night when their car collided with a tractor-trailer on snow-covered State Route 10 near Roselawn. The victims weren't immediately identified.

Northwestern Indiana received at least a foot of snow Tuesday night and Wednesday.
