As if a record-breaking snow over the weekend wasn't enough, then system snow hit Michiana on Tuesday and now another lake-effect blast has moved in.
LaPorte County is expected to see the heaviest snow. Eventually the band will shift east, giving South Bend a better chance of old man winter. Meterologist Frank Waugh says 3-6" are expected in South Bend and 6-12" in LaPorte County with isolated locations seeing up to 18". The snow should taper off Thursday.
