As heavy rain continues to pour around Michiana, low-lying areas prone to flooding are doing just that. Some streets and roads are becoming problematic for drivers.
State Road 23 near the corner of Hickory has been reduced to one lane. Police are directing traffic, so use caution while driving through this area. The lane you are supposed to use is outlined by orange cones and flares.
