It could be a messy commute this morning for some folks in the Northeast.
April has refused to let go of wintry weather, and up to a foot of snow is forecast in some areas, including New Jersey, eastern New York and parts of New England.
Orange County, just north of New York City, could wake up to up to 3 inches of snow this morning. Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains are expecting up to 8 inches. High altitude areas of Vermont could get up to a foot.
The National Weather Service says New York City commuters may be dealing with an inch of a slushy mix on the way to work.
But it's not all bad news. Ski bums will be able to get in another weekend in Pittsburgh. A spokeswoman for Seven Springs Mountain Resort tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that resort had closed for the season, but it'll be open Saturday to cash in on the new snow.
