Well over 100,000 customers in Michigan are still without power this morning, following ferocious thunderstorms that slammed through the Midwest over the past two days.
Power in some areas may not be restored until the end of the long weekend. Michigan reported wind gusts as high as 87 miles-per-hour Wednesday in storms with heavy rain, hail and lightning.
Grand Rapids had five inches of rain. Police helped motorists whose cars stalled in flooded streets.
