It may take awhile before tiny Gulfport, Illinois, is livable again.
That's because right now, it's in about 10-feet of water.
A levee break along the Mississippi River sent water gushing onto acres of farm land and into Gulfport. About a half-dozen people had to be rescued by various means, including a helicopter. Lois Russell, who's been flooded out three times in Gulfport going back to 1965, says she's not returning this time.
Communities downstream are waiting on their crests later this week, including southeast Iowa which already has more than 1.5 billion dollars in damages. Crests near St. Louis are expected to be near those of 1993.
