Crews are working to restore power to utility customers across Michigan following weekend storms.
Detroit Edison says about 4,000 customers -- including about 3,000 in Oakland County -- that lost power following yesterday's storms were without electricity this morning.
Utility spokesman John Austerberry says service to customers without power before yesterday's storms had been restored.
CMS Energy says it has about 2,000 homes and businesses without power this morning. That number includes about 700 in the Bay City area, 600 in the Jonesville area and 450 in the Grand Rapids area.
The latest outages came on the heels of 730,000 blackouts caused by a series of storms that hit the state.
