People in the Midwest are getting a White Christmas thanks to a winter storm.

Up to 7 inches of snow fell in Denver, causing a few flight delays. United Airlines canceled about 50 flights. But a spokeswoman says today is a light travel day, so passengers on canceled flights have been moved to others.

Snow has also fallen in parts of Wyoming, Minnesota and Nebraska, sometimes making driving difficult.

An official in Wyoming says a semi trailer slid off Interstate 80 and overturned. He says numerous other vehicles went into ditches on the interstate and other highways. No injuries have been reported.

In Nebraska, the most snow reported was 8 inches. But the National Weather Service says wind gusts of 30-40 miles per hour have caused snow drifts of 3 feet or higher.
