This Macy’s Day Parade clip lets you go behind-the-scenes and witness what it takes to assemble a parade float. Head Designer John Piper takes you for a tour of the Parade studio to show you how everything you’ll see in the Parade is made.

Today co-anchor Meredith Vieira co-hosts along with Matt Lauer and Al Roker kicking off the festivities with the parade's historic route beginning at 77th Street and Central Park West and winding down Broadway.
