Participants who successfully complete the ABC3 Public Boating Course and exam will be awarded a certificate recognized by the National Association of Safe Boating Laws Administrators. This certificate is also recognized by Indiana and complies with the new Michigan operator regulations for boats and PWC (personal water craft) used on local lakes, rivers and Lake Michigan. Course content includes boating safety and operation, rules of the road, euipment requirements, basic navigation, navigational aids and other topics relating to safe boating.
