Jay's Giant Peach Party

Jollay Orchards, 1850 Friday Road, Coloma, MI 49038Come to Jollay Orchards to explore Jay’s Giant Peach. Jay’s Giant Peach will offer a scavenger hunt in the orchard, beach music games and activities that will make you feel like a peach. There will be many varieties of peaches and more fun than your little peaches can handle. Families can build kites to fly at the orchard. A face painter and balloon twisters will be on site for an additional fee.
Jollay Orchards will feature the opportunity to enjoy the ferris wheel, hay rides, the fishing pond, the petting zoo, and caterpillar crawl. Taste the fruit and baked items; explore the orchards at the farm, 1850 Friday Road in Coloma. Grandpa’s Cider Mill, 2941 Friday Road will tempt you to enjoy the country charm of the old time cider mill; taste the 25 apple cider flavors; explore the Dinosaur Farm. The Jollay Market will tantalize you with LavAzza Coffee and an amazing array of fruits and veggies, you will be implored to enjoy a step back to the time of a Mom and Pop shop. Taste some of the hand-dipped Sherman’s Ice Cream; and explore the onsite farmers market, enjoy a snack at the market, grab some apple cider. Watch for a great summer of fun activities!

DCI Four Flags Spectacular

Niles High School Stadium, 1441 Eagle Street Niles, MIA new stop on the 2012 Drum Corps International Tour schedule, the Four Flags Spectacular will take place on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Niles High School Stadium in Southwestern Michigan. Featuring a HUGE lineup of corps, results from this competition will be used to set the lineups for the Open Class World Championship Quarterfinals taking place just two days later.
Tickets are $12 for general admission seating. Groups of 20 or more receive a $2 discount on all seats. Prices do not include additional handling fees. Don't wait until day of show to purchase! Ticket prices will increase by $5.

2nd Annual Toscana Park Summer Wine & Art Festival

Toscana Park, 225 Toscana Blvd in Granger, INAfter much success last summer, Toscana Park’s Villa Macri Ristorante and The Wine Gallery announced the Summer Wine & Art Festival is returning with more wine choices and art vendors.
The massive, white tent behind Villa Macri Ristorante will be the location once again for the event. The date will be Saturday, August 4th from 3pm to 6pm. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at Villa Macri Ristorante/The Wine Gallery for $20 until Friday, August 3rd. The cost will be $30 on the day of the event. You may also call The Wine Gallery at (574) 968-0471 to purchase tickets by phone with a credit card. Tickets are limited. All must be 21 years old to attend.
Guests will receive a souvenir wine glass to sample over 100 quality wines from around the world including producers such as
Cakebread, Whitehall Lane, Mollydooker, Vietti, Tedeschi, Giacomo Vico and many others.
All attendees will enjoy a cool air-conditioned atmosphere, live entertainment, and new for this year, a runway fashion show will be presented by Flourish Boutique of Granger, Indiana. There will also be unique paintings, ceramics, wine bottle chimes, sculptures and quality jewelry displayed by a variety of artisans. A community involvement partnership will feature the creative talents of the Penn High School Fine Arts Academy showcasing the works of many talented local area students.
