Studebaker Trees Volunteer Clean-up Day

Bendix Woods County Park: Nature Center New Carlisle, IN
Help us preserve the historic Studebaker Trees! We will be cutting vines, shrubs and small trees within the letters. Please wear long pants, sturdy shoes and a long-sleeved shirt. Also, bring a pair of gloves. If you wish to stay for the entire day, bring a lunch.

Victim Offender Mediation Training by the Center for Community Justice

If you enjoy working creatively and collaboratively with others, you may want to consider becoming a VORP volunteer mediator for the Center for Community Justice. VORP (Victim Offender Reconciliation Program) will be training professionals and community members about restorative justice values and offer time to practice new conflict mediation skills on Thursday, Oct. 9th from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and Friday Oct. 10th-Saturday Oct. 11th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Red Barn Resale Shop Fundraiser

FUNDRAISER: HUMANE SOCIETY OF ELKHART COUNTY RED BARN RESALE SHOP
DATES: Friday & Saturday, August 8, 9, 22 & 23, 10 am – 4 pm
DONATIONS: The Shelter is currently accepting donations of household items in working condition and clean, gently used clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the Shelter during the week from 9 am – 4 pm and on Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm.
GENERAL INFORMATION: A large selection of quality items at great prices. All proceeds from the Resale Shop will be used for the care and feeding of the animals at the Shelter.
VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are always needed to help at the Barn. Contact the Shelter for more information.
