Recycled Wind Chime Workshop

Wellfield Botanic Gardens Elkhart, IN
Have you ever seen beautiful recycled garden art on Pinterest you wanted to make for yourself? Join the Wellfield Botanic Gardens for a recycled wind chime workshop on Monday, September 8th at 6:00pm. Each participant will create their own wind chime from silverware and glass beads to take home. Cost is $7 for members, $10 for non-members. Supplies provided. Space is limited, registration is required. Program will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Dress for the weather. Gather under the striped education tent. Outdoor Film Series: Jurassic Park

The Gridiron, downtown South Bend, Indiana
Join us on the Gridiron for a viewing of the classic film, Jurassic Park. The screening starts at dusk (approximately 9:30 pm) and is weather permitting. Viewers are encouraged to bring their blankets, chairs, and snacks.

South Bend International Festival

A non-profit fund raising event accommodating all families. It's friendly outdoor event full of live music, local and authenic foods, arts and craft, children play, camping and fun.
This is brand new name and changes theme from the previous "South Bend Reggae Festival". It's a ten years anniversary celebration. The music is comprised of Blues, Latino, Reggae, R&B, African and Drum circle. The food is amazing and some you can't find them from this area.

Come visit the Elkhart Environmental Center today! The Elkhart Environmental Center features indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. Use the boat launch to fish along the Elkhart River, check out the food education garden, or take a walk along the beautiful trails that are open from dawn to dusk. The air-conditioned cabin is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Come inside to refresh, watch birds at the viewing window, check out environmental displays and explore the children’s activity loft. Learn how to use a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) device on a high-tech “treasure hunt” to find caches at the park and throughout the world!
