Day Out with Thomas: The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014

Little engineers won't believe their eyes--or their ears! For the first time ever at Day Out With Thomas, Thomas the Tank Engine will be able to talk to his fans. Boys and girls will be cheerfully greeted by the #1 Engine on September 20 & 21 - 27 & 28 when he pulls into French Lick Scenic Railway for Day Out with Thomas: The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014. In addition, children will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including arts & crafts, storytelling and more.

Fun First Fishing for Kids

A beginner fishing lesson for kids! We supply the equipment. Topics include equipment basics, knot tying, fish identification, and casting techniques followed by on-the-pond fishing. Please join us for a day of Spectacular Super Hero Fun during our Super Hero Party at Culver Union Township Public Library on Saturday, September 6th from 10-11:30 am
Boys and Girls who are fans of Super Heroes are invited to hear a superhero story, play super games, eat superhero themed snacks, and do a craft which they will be able to take home with them.
Bring your camera and don't forget to dress up in your favorite Super Hero Gear!

Kidsfirst Grows

Kids can run, jump, and more when they explore nine stations of creative fun at this event taking place in the Kidsfirst Children’s Museum. As they learn about ways to be healthy, kids will create a toothbrush painting, design a custom pillow case, and hear about the lifestyles of pioneer youth from an 1820s “woodsman.” Children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5/youth, free/adults, $3/members, and $12/family. Reservations are requested.

Scrapbooking Fun

Notre Dame Children's Choir Auditions

Good Shepherd Montessori School, 1101 E. Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN
The Notre Dame Children's Choir is doubling in size this fall by adding a boys' choir for ages 5 and 6, as well as a girls' choir for ages 5 and 6. We enroll singers between the ages of 5 and 14 into our choral program; participation is free for all involved.
Auditions and informational meetings will be held on the afternoons of August 26-28, 2014 at Good Shepherd Montessori School (1101 E. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN).
Singers do not need to prepare any music for the audition and walk-ins are welcome. To register for an appointment or learn more about the Notre Dame Children’s Choir, visit our website: www.ndcchoir.org.

The Notre Dame Children’s Choir is an ecumenical sacred-music children’s choir that performs concerts on the campuses of Notre Dame, St. Mary’s College, and Michiana churches. The choir performs at the South Bend Farmer’s Market, a service of Lessons and Carols, music dramas, as well as regional tours to Chicago, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati.
