New To You Children's Clothing Event

Grace Community Church located just south of Goshen Middle School at the intersection of CR 36 and CR21
FREE clothing, coats, shoes, pajamas, baby items and much more!

Children grow SO FAST! They seem to need new clothes constantly and the ‘New to You Children’s Clothing Event’ can help. We will be GIVING AWAY quality used children’s clothing to anyone who wants clothing for their growing children. There will be an entire gymnasium full of clothing for babies thru teenagers!

Eastside Connections School Walk for Education and Fun Fair

The idea of having a walk as our fall fundraiser is to build our school community while raising money for our school. Each student is asked for a donation for how many times that they can walk about the school in one hour. All of the donations go back to our school 100%. The fun fair is open to anyone who would like to attend. We will have fun activities and food for the students and community to enjoy.

Kid's Global Day of Play

Concord Mall - Elkhart
The Imagination Foundation and Concord Mall invites you to participate in the Second Annual Concord Mall Cardboard Challenge. Inspired by the short film, Caine's Arcade the Cardboard Challenge is a celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. During the month of September, kids are challenged to create and build out of cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. They can bring the items to Concord Mall for display. Entire classrooms are invited to participate. Please note that the Global Cardboard Challenge Day is October 11 but the Concord Mall event will be held on October 4. Haunted Library

On Friday, October 31st, something spooky is going on in the children's department. Stop in anytime during regular library hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We'll have crafts and activities you can do during your visit. Wear your costume and get your picture taken for our wall of fame! Also, be sure to trick or treat at the library. The library closes at 5:00 p.m., but there be some not-so-scary ghouls haunting the library grounds who will be happy to give you candy!

4th Annual Halloween Costume Contest

Children who dress up will get a special treat, and be entered to win a pumpkin in our costume contest! Children will be split into age groups (0-5, 6-12, 13 & over). Three judges from the community will select one costume from each age group that they deem the "best." Get creative!
Right after the library's 4th Annual Halloween Costume Contest, families will take a trip through time when they watch "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" together at the Topeka Branch. This movie follows the time-travelling adventures of an canny canine and his adopted son, as they endeavor to fix a time rift they created.

1st grade and up. This activity is for kids who want to learn various techniques in drawing, painting, etc. Kids will learn one art technique and then be allowed to create any artistic piece they choose. We'll teach a different technique each month.
