Eric’s Promise to Benefit from Doctors Express Kickoff Event at Heritage Square

Doctors Express will help kick-off this year’s Eric’s Promise campaign on Saturday, March 8, as they host a donation drive aimed at supporting the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County. The purpose of the donation drive will be to collect food, clothing and other household necessities for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County to distribute to needy families in the community. Those donating from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on March 8 at Doctors Express will receive coupons and other giveaway items from area retailers.

Pioneer Auto Association Swap Meet & Car Show
South Bend, In St Joe County 4H Fair Grounds Corner of Jackson & Ironwood Roads
The Pioneer Auto Association will hold its 51th annual swap meet and car show at the St Joseph County 4-H Fair Grounds on Sunday April 27, 2014 from 6:30AM till 3:00PM. The auto show this year will feature foreign, classic and collector cars and trucks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local charities. Forty three trophies will be awarded in fourteen classes. In addition to the car show and sale, vendors from the Midwest will buy and sell antiques, collectibles, toys, auto literature and parts.

On Saturday, June 23rd Hope was diagnose with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). The cancer has spread throughout her blood stream and taken over her bone marrow. She will have 3 months chemo treatments back to back and a bone marrow transplant. AML is a rarer form of childhood leukemia. She is at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis.

Katie is a music education major who underwent spinal fusion surgery in her senior year of high school. Her parents were recipients of RMHC's hospitality and would like to help give back to this worthy organization.
Help sick children and their families find strength in numbers. The concert is free, but donations are welcome. Katie and others will be playing several familiar favorites from television and movie theme songs.

There will be entertainment of two comedians, a band, a singer, and a magician for the children. All ages are welcome, come have some fun!

Music and Auctions to benefit research for United Cancer Services

Moose Lodge on CR 6 in Elkhart
Local sorority Beta Alpha Chi is hosting an evening of singing, dancing and bidding to benefit the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County and the "Go Red" campaign for women's heart disease research.
This annual fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 15th from 6-11:30pm at the Moose Lodge on CR 6 in Elkhart.
The event begins with karaoke from 6 until 8 followed by dancing to live music from the band Morgan's Bluff and featuring the band LiveWire. Silent auctions of donated items including jewelry, artwork, wine baskets and certificates for local goods and services will be held throughout the evening. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Admission is $5.00 which includes entry into a drawing for the door prize.
