Based on the true story of Belle Gunness, a woman accused of the untimely deaths of several men in the early 1900s, “Murder and Mayhem” recounts details of the crimes and the mysterious disappearance of the alleged murderess. Costumed performers in the Oliver Mansion portray characters related to the story, and one of them has aided Belle in her escape. Is it Vulcan, a fire-eater from a nearby circus? Perhaps it’s Belle’s farmhand. Or what about Dr. Norton–just where was he on the night in question? This popular mystery needs all your investigative skills to track down “whoddunnit.” Tickets are limited and reservations are strongly recommended. Purchase online at www.centerforhistory.org or by calling 235-9664. $12/adults; $10/seniors; $8/youth; $7/members.
