This 8-week class will help you tune in to your body and improve your self-image and sense of well-being as you lose weight. Active yoga postures tone your muscles, build strength and increase your flexibility. Deep mindfulness relaxation enhances your ability to deal with life's daily stressors in a calm manner. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one; wear loose clothing; and don't eat within two hours of class.
Facilitator: Barbara Coleman, RYT500, IAYT, LFYP2 Barbara Coleman is certified by Yoga Alliance at the advanced 500-hour teaching level with emphasis on yoga therapy. She apprenticed with Sreedevi Bringi from the Bihar School of Yoga in India to become a Yoga Nidra Meditation instructor. She is an advanced student of Dr. Richard Miller, creator of iRest/Yoga Nidra (www.irest.us). Barbara is also Level II LifeForce® Yoga for Depression and Anxiety instructor.
