Nappanee Kickball Tournament

Cost: $35.00 per team
$50.00 per team if t-shirts wanted.
Registration deadline: May 28th or
May 23rd for teams wanting t-shirts.
Teams must have 8 players
Players must be 10 or older on or before May 31st
For teams wishing to purchase t-shirts, colors for shirts will be awarded on a first come first serve basis and must be registered by May 23rd.
Teams can register at City Hall, 300 W. Lincoln, weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Come kick off summer with a day in Nappanee!
Play some kickball and then cool down at the Nappanee Pool.

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

This day has been proclaimed World Tai Chi (tie-chee) & Qigong (chee-kung) Day by South Bend's Deputy Mayor Mark Neal and is Presented by T'ai Chi Meditative Lifestyle of South Bend, Indiana.
The entire Michiana area is invited to attend this unprecedented global health and wellness event, which will unfold across the planet. Mass Tai Chi and Qigong Exhibitions will be held in public places to educate people around the world about the health benefits of these Traditional Chinese Medicine exercises. This event begins in New Zealand, and will continue time zone by time zone across the globe through 60 countries and across 6 continents. This healing wave of energy will be a spectacular visual sight as it promotes calm and wellness worldwide. Join This Amazing Experience! Go FishIN Crew Captain Workshop

May 8 from 9 am to 4 pm

St. Patrick's County Park: Brown Barn South Bend, IN
This workshop is for adults (e.g. educators and youth leaders) to learn about fish biology, Indiana's aquatic ecosystems, fish management in Indiana, basic angling skills, and angler ethics. Participants will become Crew Captains and can then take this knowledge and these skills to their classrooms and community. Crew Captains can also receive sport fishing educational materials and fishing equipment from the DNR to implement the program. No fishing experience is needed. All fishing equipment will be provided. Workshop is free but pre-registration is required. To register or ask questions, email dfwed@dnr.IN.gov or call 317-234-8440.
