Legendary R&B and soul singer/songwriter KEITH SWEAT has sold more than 25 million records and received the 2013 Soul Train Life Time Achievement Award. Born in Harlem not far from the famed Apollo Theatre, Keith worked at the New York Stock Exchange in the commodities market and sang at nightclubs until he was discovered in 1987. Sweat released his debut album "Make It Last Forever" in 1987 which sold over 3 million copies.
His latest album, "'Til the Morning" has the singer/songwriter returning to his roots with songs like the album's seductive lead single, "Make You Say Ooh," and romantic tracks like "I Want Her" and "Make It Last forever."

Party for a Cure is a elegant dinner and dance with live and silent auctions. The event's purpose is to bring together the community to raise funds in support of JDRF's mission to cure diabetes through the support of research.

2014 Honorees is Janice Luckenbill, RN of Elkhart, Indiana. Janice is a longtime volunteer of JDRF who has played a instrumental role in helping families and individuals diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) monitor and live with their disease.
T1D occurs at no fault of the individual and requires glucose monitoring and injections of insulin until a cure is found.
The 2014 Promise Light Family is the Ryan and Starr Geldmyer Family of Dyer, IN. The Geldymer's son, Jack was diagnosed at a young age, changing the family's lives forever. The Geldmyers will share they family, and Jack's, story during Party for a Cure.
