It was almost all-Office, almost all the time on the current list of best-selling software for PCs last month.
The current data from NPD Group puts Microsoft's "Office 2007 Home & Student 3-User" at the top of the October list -- the same position it held in September.
Number two is the basic "Office 2007" suite, followed by Apple's "MobileMe," one of the few non-Microsoft titles on last month's list. Intuit's "QuickBooks 2009 Pro" is number four, followed by "Outlook 2007" and a second Apple entry, "Quicktime 7.0 Pro." Next up at number seven is the "Office 2007 Upgrade," followed by the "Office Small Business Edition Upgrade," "2007 Pro Upgrade" and the full retail version of "Office 2007 Pro."
