Guess you could say the Wii remote is getting in touch with its sensitive side.

Nintendo says it's coming out with something called the Wii MotionPlus. The new accessory will plug into the base of the current Wii remote and will let users have more intuitive control of their motions.

The new remote was announced at the E3 convention in Los Angeles and is scheduled for release in the spring. The device will come packaged with "Wii Sports Resort," a video game title which will feature beach-themed activities such as frisbee throwing and jet skiing.

Nintendo has also introduced a "Wii Music" music simulator and the WiiSpeak room microphones.
