Jim Behling, who served as president and general manager of WNDU for more than a decade, died on Tuesday.

Behling was hired in 1993 and retired in 2006.

He was deeply involved in many of the station's charitable causes and was known for his outgoing personality.

After leaving WNDU, Behling enjoyed retirement in his home state of Wisconsin.

He died surrounded by his wife, Nancy, his children and grandchildren.
