Verizon Wireless customers can now get news on the go!

The cell phone company is delivering local news content to mobile phones from more than 80 television stations, including WNDU.

V Cast subscribers can view more than 1,000 local news and sports video clips at any given time from across the country.

"You have to have a service called V Cast. What V Cast is, it gives you that nationwide coverage, so wherever you are you can actually access the internet, as well as that mobile web feature that we're looking at with the video," explained Nic Bontrager, assistant manager of the Ireland Road Verizon store.

Four other TV stations in Indiana are taking part in the program.
