Notre Dame fans that made the trip to the National Championship have hit Florida with full force making South Beach feel a little more like South Bend.

The Irish have invaded Miami and the surrounding areas, spending time on the beach, catching some rays, and noticing the dedication of the “green tide” of Notre Dame fans.

“When you look all over South Beach area, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood Beach in addition to Miami all you see is Notre Dame green,” said Notre Dame fan Stephanie Turner, “we are taking over because we are changing the tide of the national championship! Forget about SEC it’s all about Notre Dame!”

Irish fan Ted Kenny said it’s better than a home game seeing more Notre Dame fans than Alabama in south Florida.

Sarah Tonti and Kelly Carr said their hotel is full of Notre Dame people, “we see Notre Dame gear at breakfast, at lunch, on the beach, out at night so it’s really exciting.”
