A hearing to determine just how much restitution will be paid on behalf of Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees was held Monday morning.

The state agreed to continue the hearing indefinately.

Rees plead guilty to resisting arrest and underage drinking after being arrested at a house party in May.

He was sentenced to a 30-day suspended sentence, 11 months of administrative probation and 60 hours of community service. He also had to write a letter of apology to the officers involved.

Rees has ended each of the last two seasons as the Notre Dame starter.

The suspension means Rees will not start 2012 as the Irish starting quarterback.
