It looks like football fans will have plenty of places to park, during Saturday’s home opener at Notre Dame.
The City of South Bend has issued 28 lawn parking permits to residents who are close to campus, and want to cater commercially to the cars of football fans.
Kareemah Fowler answers if it is cheaper than chancing it and going without it. “Absolutely, that would be $100, $100 first offense second offense is $200, with a $50 late fee. So I think it would be beneficial if you're going to park to get the permit.”
The deadline to get a lawn parking permit for this Saturday passed on Wednesday at noon.
