Another Notre Dame football player has had a run-in with the law.
Irish wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, expected to be a major player for Brian Kelly this fall, was cited for underage drinking at a party at his home in Illinois this week.
Police cited 29 people for underage drinking at the home in Vernon Hills.
"I'm aware of the citation DaVaris received and will be speaking with him about the matter," Irish coach Brian Kelly said in a statement. "Any team-related discipline that may be forthcoming will be handled internally."
Daniels joins quarterback Tommy Rees and linebacker Carlo Calabrese as Irish football players with recent alcohol related legal trouble.
