Notre Dame Football’s spring practice was in full swing on Friday, and unlike last year there is no confusion as to who the number one quarterback is.
Sophomore quarterback, Everett Golson, went 10-1 as starter during the 2012 season. But during last year’s spring practice Everett may not have predicted the awesome season he was about to have.
“Go back to last spring, I wasn’t really established at all,” said Golson on Friday.
“I was kind of the new kid on the block. I’m fortunate for the season we’ve had, everything we’ve been through. On the offensive side, it’s helped me get that ball with my teammates and has allowed for me to kind of step up and establish that role as a leader.”
Spring practice is a time for the team to strengthen and grow as they go into the 2013-2014 season as recent National Championship contenders.
