Notre Dame's 1988 Nationa Championship team lost its seventh member Thursday night. Mirko Jurkovic died from complications to colon cancer.
Jurkovic was a captain and All-American lineman on the team. The 42-year-old was a popular member of the UND.com postgame show.
Visitation will be held Friday at McFann-Hay Funeral Home in Granger. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mirko Jurkovic Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo branch.
