Schott said yes and the duo joined us LIVE on the NewsCenter 16 post-game newscast just seconds after this engagement was official.

Lezynski is now working at Holy Cross College in Massachusetts and knew this was his only oppportunity if he wanted to ask her at Notre Dame Stadium.

He said he was asking her no matter what but that the last second victory helped out.

Schott said she had no idea her boyfriend would even be at the game. She said that was a big enough surprise, let alone that he would propose as well.
