As the NFL Draft nears, former Irish stars are preparing to hear their names called. Mike Floyd is a lock in the first round. Harrison Smith will also be chosen.
But for some, like Darius Fleming, the future is not as certain.
After improving his draft stock this offseason, Fleming projects in the middle to late rounds, but that is never a guarantee.
Fleming was in town for the Blue-Gold Game and tells us it's just time to wait and see.
He says, "It's tough. You know, you train for this, and you play for this your whole life, to get to this step in your life. It's finally here, and it's not in my hand anymore. So, I'm just waiting. Like I said, I dream more about it than I try to think about it, but that's the hard part."
The NFL Draft begins on Thursday.
