We have some good news to report about our friend Jeff Jeffers. He is improving everyday after being hospitalized at the end of August.

Jeff says he’s incredibly touched and can’t believe how many of you have been thinking about him and praying for him.

He’s taking it easy right now and spending his time chatting and laughing with his family and a few friends. He’s also making sure to watch his two favorite things… NewsCenter 16 and of course the Fighting Irish.

As you can imagine, Jeff still needs some peace, quiet and privacy during his recovery. He says he’s itching to get back to work, but it still likely will be some time before he rejoins us. We can’t wait until he’s ready to be back on the air and back here with us in the newsroom.
