South Bend St. Joe has plenty reasons to be spirited.

Already winners of a 16 Spirit Award for showing the most school spirit on Friday Night Football this year, the Indians were in the running with four other schools for the "Best of the Best" Award.
With the most votes, St. Joe claimed the honor of Spirit School of the Year. They receiver another check for #100 and another plaque from Martin's.
The soccer team faces Evansville Memorial at 6pm Saturday in the 2A State finals in Indy. So what would it feel like for the seniors to go out as state champs?
"It's a good question--it's pretty unbelievable to be honest," says captain and defender Emily Rompola. "To win my soccer game as a high school student-athlete would be awesome and for it be for the state championship, would be even better."
"It would be so, so awesome," says fellow captain and forward Catherine Raster. "This is what we've been working all season and all four years for. It would just be great to win."
The volleyball team plays in Semi-State Saturday at 12:30 at Plymouth. Their opponent, is #1 Yorktown. The Indians must beat them and a 2nd team Saturday night to advance to the state finals.
