Prister retires as Marian baseball coach

After nine seasons as the Marian baseball coach, Tim Prister has decided to retire. Prister led the Knights, his alma mater, to two state title game appearances during his tenure.

"I love Marian high school, I love my alma mater," Prister explained. "I coached a group of great kids. Reggie Glon our AD was incredibly supportive. Carl Loesch the principal was behind us and our program."

"It was a great run but it is time to move on."

Prister is a co-owner of Irish Illustrated, an insider website devoted to Notre Dame Athletics. He felt he need to devote himself full-time to his full-time job.
