After capturing a Sectional Title last weekend with a 49-37 win over Mishawaka the Penn girl's basketball team now has their sights set on a Regional Title.

This weekend the Kingsmen (22-1) will host Merrillville (16-6) for the second time this season. The two teams first met on February 3rd with Penn coming out on top with a 70-63.

Penn head coach Kristi Kaniewski-Ulrich knows that her team has to come prepared for the Cougars.

"Merrillville is a terrific team," Coach Kaniewski-Ulrich said. "They have a great coach, a great program. They are an extremely athletic and aggressive team that is great on the boards."

While Penn got the better of Merrillville during the regular season Kaniewski-Ulrich says that win means nothing come Saturday.

"It is the playoffs. It doesn't matter what happened during the regular season. We have got to come out. You know, we will have some changes, they will have some changes and we will just have to be able to adjust and do the things we have done well all season long."

Tip off for Penn's opening game of Regional's against Merrillville is set for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
