Northridge comes up one run short of playing for softball state title

The Northridge baseball team came up one run short of playing for the 4A State championship. The Raiders lost to Huntington North 1-0 in the finals of Semi-State Saturday night in West Lafayette.

Northridge beat Carmel 2-0 in the semifinals Saturday morning.
In 3A, South Bend St. Joe's season came to an end with an 11-4 loss to Woodlan in the regional semifinals.
Up in Michigan, 2-time defending state champion Lakeshore beat arch rival St. Joe 9-0 to win the Class B District Championship.
