Marian High School held a rally Tuesday to show off the hardware

The Marian High School community gathered Tuesday afternoon to honor the girls soccer team which brought home state championship hardware this weekend.

Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood was on hand to declare it Marian Girls Soccer Day.

The team emerged victorious in the title game against the team that beat them in the bout a year ago, which they said makes the win that much sweeter.

The knights defeated Providence on Saturday by a score of 2-0.
