The Lakeshore Lancer boys basketball is now just two wins away from capturing a state championship.

Lakeshore is off to the Breslin Center at Michigan State on Friday night after defeating Grand Rapids Christian 58-48 Tuesday in Middleville.

The battle was tight the entire game with Christian 38-37 heading into the 4th quarter before the Lancers exploded for the 10-point win.

Lakeshore (23-2) will play Muskegon Heights (20-6) Friday night at 6 p.m. in the Class B State Semifinals. The winner moves to the state finals Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Breslin Center.

Tickets for the semifinals and finals will go on sale Thursday at Lakeshore high school. The cost is $8.
