Alex Vandevusse threw two touchdown passes as Grand Rapids Christian scored 31 unanswered points to be Lakeshore 31-7 Saturday afternoon in Stevensville in the Division 3 Michigan Regionals.

Lakeshore scored the first score of the game on a 7-yard touchdown run by Zak Drake in the first quarter. Christian quickly answered with a touchdown pass to Dwayne Barfield just three plays later.

The game remained tied at 7 until the 2nd half. Vandevusse threw a 49 yard TD pass to Michigan State recruit Drake Harris to give Christian a 14-7 lead. Seth McIntosh added a touchdown run with five seconds left in the 3rd to go up 21-7.

Christian sealed the game with an interception return for a touchdown in the 4th.

The loss is the first of the season for Lakeshore.
