Kubsch scores 20 as St. Joe crushes Mishawaka in girls hoops

Alex Kubsch scored 20 points and freshman Madeline Raster added 16 as the St. Joe girls basketball team crushed Mishawaka 62-39 Thursday night at Alumni Gym.

The Indians were bombing three pointers, jumping out to a 31-15 halftime lead. St. Joe is now 3-0 in NIC play.
At Clay, the Colonials rallied from an early deficit to defeat Marian 54-48. The Knights led 16-6 after one quarter, but blew the lead in the end.

Clay snapped a 5-game losing streak with the win.
In a non conference game, Penn improved to 8-0 with a 52-35 win over Northridge.
