Marian senior and Notre Dame recruit Demetrius Jackson has been named to the prestigious McDonald's All-American Team.
Jackson will play for the East in the mega all-star game April 3rd in Chicago.
Jackson is considered one of the nation's premiere point guards and is the all-time leading scorer at Marian.
Demetrius is the 15th future Irish player to ever be named to the McDonald's team and just the 5th under Mike Brey. Notre Dame's last McDonald's All-American in men's hoops was Luke Zeller in 2005.
The last Michiana player ever named a McDonald's All-American was Skylar Diggins.
The Irish women's team had two players named to the list in Taya Reimer and Lindsay Allen.
