Adams and Clay will battle Friday night in football.
And for the first time in a long time, there's plenty on the line in the games.
Both teams are 2-0.
It's the first time since 1991 Adams has started this well.
"We haven't beaten them since 1998. We also haven't been 3-0 since 1985," Adams coach Craig Redman said. "We set our goals one game at a time and those are two goals were trying to reach at this one."
"It's really exciting. We have more kids wanting to come out for the team. We have people in the hallways--teachers--saying congratulating the kids. It's a great vibe to have there at Adams."
Kickoff Friday night is set for 7pm at School Field.
