Breaking a national record will land you national exposure.

South Bend Washington star wide receiver Gehrig Dieter will appear in the newest edition of Sports Illustrated, hitting newstands on Wednesday.

Dieter will be in the "Faces in the Crowd" section for his 447 yard receiving performance in a 63-10 win over Elkhart Central last Friday that set a new national record.

The Senior is having a monster season, setting the Indiana record in week one with 373 yards receiving. He followed that up in week two with 346 yards.

Washington is 3-0 and will face South Bend Adams Friday night.
