A busy weekend carried into the school week for Mishawaka Cross Country Runner Anna Roherer Monday.
A school assembly was held in her honor after winning the Cross Country National Championship in San Diego. Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood was on hand to present Anna with a key to the city and proclaiming December 8, 2012 Anna Rohrer National Champion Day.
Anna won the 3.1 mile race with a time of 17 minutes and 24 seconds, an accomplishment her and her parents are incredibly proud of.
