The Edwardsburg Eddies are all about victories this week.

The Eddies took home the week 8 16 Spirit Award after a big victory last week at home on homecoming over Berrien Springs.

Edwardsburg receives a plaque and check for $100 from Martin's for showing the most school spirit on Friday Night Football.

The Eddies are 6-1 this season despite graduating 20 of 22 starters from last year's team. Friday night they shoot for a conference championship when they go on the road to battle undefeated Dowagiac.

It will be homecoming for the Chieftains for the 7pm start at Dowagic.

The winner capture's the Wolverine Conference Division title heading into the final week of the regular season.
