After just two wins each of the last three seasons, simply making a post-season run has been historical for the Adams football team.
But this team has preached, they aren't the Adams Eagles of yesteryear.
Friday night, Adams plays for the school's first sectional championship in football.
"With the adversity we've had on and off the field all year--and everything we done--hopefully we give us the strength to gain us the first sectional championship in Adams history," Eagles coach Craig Redman says.
They go on the road to Allen County face Carroll in the 5A Sectional Final. Carroll upset Penn last week.
"Carroll is a solid team," Redman continues. "They are very verse. They got a great running game. Their defense brings a pretty strong package--they blitz from outside and inside. We are going to have to come out there and play the best game we've played all year."
