Weather postponed the 2nd annual Miracle Game at Notre Dame's Frank Eck Stadium Saturday, sponsored by the Adams H.S. Baseball team.

Adams was scheduled to play in a doubleheader against Benet Academy, with all of the proceeds from the event going to the Challenger Little League of South Bend. The organization is dedicated to helping the disabled kids play baseball.

Rain and snow postponed the event, which will be rescheduled for May.

The weather couldn't stop many from enjoying themselves. Attending the game was Adams Coach Sean Stires' daughter to help cheer on the Eagles.

"Bailey is someone who plays challenger little league herself and she's in a power wheelchair but she motors around and she gets out there and has a ton of fun,” Coach Stires says about his daughter. “They call her the little slugger when she's out their playing ball so she has a great time doing it. It's obviously very near and dear to my heart and being able to do something like this gives us an opportunity to help her and other kids who are in the same situation."

Last year, the miracle game raised nearly $2,000, an amount they are hoping to surpass this year.
