Bryce Drew and Valparaiso will open up NCAA Tourney play vs Michigan State Thursday in Auburn Hills, Michigan at 12:15pm. The Crusaders are the 14th seed and the Spartans are the 3rd seed.
Valpo is making its first NCAA tourney appearance since 2004 and first since Byrce Drew took over as head coach last season. Drew of course hit "The Shot" back in 1998, leading Valpo to its only NCAA Tourney win.
