BOURBONNAIS, Ill. Marc Trestman is off to a fast start with the Chicago Bears.
The new coach was a blur during the first training camp practice on Friday, trailing players and urging the offense to hurry up when it was slow to snap the ball.
Trestman says the "the more chaotic we can make it for them" in practice, the easier things will be during games.
The offensive-oriented Trestman hardly looks or acts like a typical football coach. He calls the conditioning tests this week "an accountability exercise" and uses terms such as "self-actualize."
He is a big change from the stoic and defensive-minded Lovie Smith.
