From 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin to the star of the new NBC show Smash Katharine McPhee, the celebs were out in full force Saturday night in the circle city.
Many appeared on the red carpet for the first ever NFL Honors Awards Show, which aired on Channel 16 and was hosted by Baldwin.
"I think there have been some incredible places here and I think it's exciting for everybody," explained Emmanuelle Chriqui of HBO's Entourage. "Being that the Super Bowl is [Sunday], I think it’s really great."
NFL legends like Don Shula, Jerry Rice and Joe Montana were in the house. R. ice and Montana were particularly impressed with Indianapolis as the host city.
"It's been great but it's been crazy," Montana said with a laugh. "I tried to get out and walk around and learned that was a mistake. The place has been crowded but everything is close so it makes it easy to get to things you want to get to. They've done a great job."
Colts center Jeff Saturday was very happy with how his town handled being the center of the sports and entertainment universe.
”Every event has been great," Saturday said. "Our hospitality is second to none. Internationally, we showed what our city is like.”
The Reviews for the Circle City have been outstanding. Maybe just maybe this cold weather city might get a crack at a second Super Bowl in the years to come.
Green Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named NFL MVP at the show.
